Founded in early 2018, the DSPA is a non-profit organisation and the first of its kind in Portugal. Its mission is to establish itself as a national and international platform driving innovation in Data Science and, as a natural progression of technological evolution, Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Guided by its motto, “To empower Data Science for a Better World”, the DSPA's strategic objectives include enhancing Portugal’s capabilities in Data Science and AI through collaborative efforts with stakeholders from diverse sectors. The association aims to energise the labor market, create value chains within the industry, address critical topics such as ethics and regulation, position Portugal as a global leader in knowledge advancement, and foster networking opportunities across various segments of society.
Celfocus thus joins this community of approximately 800 Individual Members (students, professionals and practitioners in various fields), Collective Members (Business and Institutional) and DSPA Partners, which have been developing several initiatives of interest and scope transversal to the Data Science and AI industry.
